If they want to show kids about UK animal welfare standards, why don't they take them on a jolly tour of a factory farm and abbatoir , instead of feeding them this ridiculously euphemised 'Old McDonald's Farm' version of reality ?
All that will do is cause them to grow up delusional, thinking that animals in agriculture are treated much better than they really are..... and how can that ever be a good thing, from an ethical or moral perspective ?
As far as fruit and vegetables go, it sounds like a great idea though.
