Default Crumpet comparison

In what has to be one of the saddest moments of my life I did a crumpet comparison test between Warburtons, Kingsmill, Sainsbury's and Co-Op. Warburtons won quite easily, although they were all fine .

Why the saddest moment?

Surely the chance to eat lots of crumpets is a good thing?
They're the food of the gods...

Also, you made a typo in this subforum's description. It should be 'favourite'.

I find Sainsbury's crumpets quite satisfactory. Although I'll admit I haven't tried the other brands that you have listed.

My preference is Warbuton's as well...
What exactly was the point of the crumpet comparison, though?

They're crumpets. Does there have to be a point?

lalala, crumpets are nice.
I've only recently started eating them, I was surprised that they're vegan (or all of the ones I've seen have been, anyway), they've very nice toasted especially with peanut butter or syrup on top, and lots of nice gooey margarine.

I had one toasted with syrup on, and had it with vanilla swedish glace (non-dairy icecream) and it was wonderful they went really well together.

I don;t know which crumpets might be my favourites yet, though.
