Just bought some croissants
Annoyingly I just bought some croissants from my local Co-op without even thinking that they might contain eggs. Since there is no ingredients label, I have no idea whether they contain eggs (which they I presume they do), and whether they are free-range or not.
Isn't it time that supermarkets started putting ingredients on their freshly baked produce?
I have had the same problem in the past with non-vegetarian jam being used in doughnuts. Without an ingredients list or even a 'suitable for vegetarians' note, it makes it very difficult to know, and people just don't think about it.
