Default Supermarket bakeries

The first project that we will tackle will be supermarket in-store bakeries. I selected this because it is a relatively easy target, newsworthy and contained - there are only a limited number of companies to contact.

Please share all of your ideas and experiences about bakeries and their lack of labelling.

Issues that spring to mind:
  • No labelling of pork or beef gelatine - of interest to Muslims, Jews and Hindus.
  • Vegetarian and Vegan labelling, obviously
  • Local produce used? Flour etc.
  • Organic milk used?
  • Free-range eggs?
  • Allergy information - nuts, gluten, dairy etc.
